"Josie", the latest single from Syracuse-based artist, Picture Us Tiny, is a beautifully crafted Pop Rock/Punk track. While heartfelt lyricism stands front and center, the track is boosted by impressive vocal work, unique transitions, and spot-on production.
Picture Us Tiny is a solo project created by musician Jackson Velli. "Josie" was co-written by Dan Harris, who also provided guitars and backup vocals. Peter Banks was also recruited to provide drums on the track.
Overall this is a refreshing tune that leaves you wanting more. You're taken on quite the journey through big and anthemic hooks. The whole time you think to yourself, "have I heard this before?", but not in a bad way. This is a reminiscent track while at the same time boasting a unique style. We can't wait to hear what's next.
