Los Angeles-based duo, Trash Pals. recently dropped their new EP, Love Object. A 4-track ride that keeps you engaged with unique songwriting, poppy vocal work, and groovy instrumentals, this is a dynamic new release that any fan of the indie/alt-rock world will love.
Each track flows seamlessly into the next here, leaving the listener with a very complete release. The journey kicks off and hands you heartfelt lyrical work, spot-on production, and an infectious energy that makes the ride feel intentional and not just a collection of singles. By the time Love Object is over, all you'll want to do is hear more, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
Elements of indie, pop, alternative, and grunge all make an appearance in the band's sound. Where Trash Pals really shines is by being able to blend these elements together to deliver a nostalgic and refreshing sound. Poppy hooks sprout up between raw verses, distorted guitars meet soft bass lines, punchy drums complement hypnotic vocal flows... you can tell the duo had a very specific plan for this release. We can't wait to see what they have planned next!
You can jam along to the new EP in its entirety below. We also added a couple of tracks to our Underground Indie & Alternative playlist on Spotify. If you dig what you hear, make sure to follow Trash Pals so you can stay on top of what else they have going on. Enjoy!
