"The Ballad of Rigger Morris" is a single recently dropped by Edmonton-based band, Rigger Morris. Boasting a unique style that walks along a tight line of Punk Rock, Folk, Country, and Alternative, with a dash of Americana, this is a beautifully crafted new tune that's tough to take off repeat. What a release!
Pulling you in with hypnotic guitar work, this track wastes no time delivering ripping instrumentals, poppy vocal flows, and spot-on production work. The overall songwriting is of course the biggest highlight of this track. Unique transitions keep you engaged from start to finish as you're handed big hooks and clever narrative-styled lyrical work. This is an anthemic new jam that tells a story, and by the time that story is over, you'll just want to experience it again.
