For this Track Feature we're taking a look at "Heartless", the newest effort from Canadian based Alternative Hip Hop artist Luxe. What we like about this track is how diverse it gets from beginning to end. It's a great example of how broad Alternative Hip Hop can be. There's also a strong Pop Punk vibe that is present through the track.
A heavy instrumental helps showcase the real highlight of the track, the vocal melody. This was our first time listening to Luxe, but this was a great introduction to the artist. "Heartless" really shows the potential he has. Creating a genre-defying track is important, especially in an industry that focuses so heavily on labelling artists. Luxe really hit it out of the park here.
