For this Track Feature, we're taking a look at "Jhm", the new single from U.K. based band Dalmas. You know when you listen to a song, and it somehow manipulates your brain activity leaving you incapable of standing still? Well... that's what happened here. I'm bouncing up and down so much right now that it's tough to keep my hands on this keyboard.
Where Dalmas really shines here is by blending styles together. The listener is taken on quite a journey, all while being handed impressive vocal and instrumental work, unique transitions, on point production and catchy choruses. A funky instrumental pulls you into the track, and then it starts to grow. Before you know it you're thrown into a world of powerful guitars and sing along hooks. This is a tough one to not leave on repeat.
Admittedly, this was our first time listening to the band, but "Jhm" has guaranteed that it won't be the last. We've also been told that new music is planned for this year, which is great because this is the poppy Indie Rock hit that leaves you wanting more.
