"Last Forever" is a track dropped late last year by Austin-based artist, Actve Captve. Taken from their new album, Saudaze, this is a beautifully crafted new tune that features poppy vocal flows over a dynamic and well-produced instrumental. This was a wonderful introduction to the band because it left us wanting more.
Boasting a unique blend of pop rock, synthpop, pop punk, and alt-rock, the artist shines here by being able to deliver a melodic blend of styles that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. Stumbling upon this track led to us taking a listen to the rest of the Actve Captve discography. We're not sure what they have planned next in terms of releases, but it's obvious that they've found "their sound". As long as they continue to drop anthems like this, we're positive that a well-deserved wave of fresh fans will follow.
