Switzerland-based Metal band, Ophelia's Eye, just unleashed their killer new EP, Catharsis. A 5-track ride that comes fully equipped with ripping instrumentals, powerful vocal flows, and impressive songwriting, this is an impressive set of songs that any fan of the Metal world is going to love. What a release!
Each track flows seamlessly into the next on this release. That's why Catharsis feels so complete. The only downside of an EP is that if you really like it, you're going to be left wanting more. That's exactly what is happening with this release, but that is an awesome compliment to the band. It can be hard to captivate listeners, especially new listeners. This EP will no doubt bring the band a fresh wave of new fans and leave them ready for more.
Whether it's the big hooks, the earth-shattering breakdowns, or the spot-on production work, Ophelia's Eye came out swinging with Catharsis. We're not sure what they have planned next, but we're excited to find out! It's always refreshing to come across a new melodic ride that feels nostalgic while at the same time fresh.
