Chicago based band Koalra just released their new single "Water's Push", Drawing influences from a few different genres, the band has done a beautiful job at blending elements together to really give off their own sound. Aspects of Noise Rock are cooled by melodic instrumental and vocal work, leaving the listener with an Alternative Indie hit.
We think this track hit us so hard because it really pulls on themes of Nostalgia. There's something refreshing about closing your eyes and listening to "Water's Push" from front to back. Old memories come to mind, almost leaving you with a custom video playing in your head while the song acts as the director.
"Water's Push" is a single from the bands third upcoming album. To accompany the song, the band also released a Music Video for the track.
