Canada-based band, Crones, just dropped their new album, Human Error. A 10-track ride that comes fully equipped with poppy vocal flows, ripping instrumentals, and spot-on production work, this is an anthemic release that any fan of the indie and alt-rock world will love. By blending elements of Garage Rock, Post-Punk, Pop Rock, and more the band shines here by being able to deliver a sound that feels refreshing while at the same time new.
The songwriting is a serious highlight of this album. If Human Error is your first time listening to the band, as it was for us, this album is going to serve as an impressive introduction to their style. Ripping instrumentals are present in each track, and there are a lot of writing elements that build off of each other. The vocal flows are poppy and boosted through creative lyricism while unique transitions keep you engaged through each song and ready for the next.
The album feels very full. Unlike a random collection of songs, Human Error seems very intentional. best enjoyed from start to finish, this is an easy release to hit play, let it ride, and then smash replay to experience it again. There are more enjoyable surprises you'll find yourself hearing on each new listen-through.
