Czech Republic-based trio, Craggy Collyde, just unleashed their new album, The House Next Door. An 11-track anthemic ride, this release comes fully equipped with poppy vocal flows, ripping instrumentals, and an infectious rock n roll energy.
Taking you on a wild ride of uplifting elements that are boosted by clever lyricism, this album highlights a lot of sounds under the Rock genre. Shredding guitars keep the energy level high as you're handed groovy bass lines and crashing drums. Unique transitions are present in each song and are a big reason why this album flows together so easily.
The band really shines here by being able to deliver a set of songs that feels complete as a release, instead of just a collection of tracks. The album feels full and really doesn't seem to be missing anything. It's always refreshing to come across a release that has a nostalgic sound, but at the same time feels new. You can tell the band put a lot of thought into the emotion and overall theme behind The House Next Door.
You can jam along to the new album in its entirety below. We also added a couple of personal favorites to our Underground Indie & Alternative playlist on Spotify. If you like what you hear, make sure to follow Craggy Collyde so you can stay on top of what else they have going on. Enjoy!
