Detroit-based duo, Vazum, recently dropped their new album, Western Violence. Boasting a creative and unique blend of styles, this is a wild 12-track ride that will bring you back for more. What a release!
Elements of Grunge, Garage Rock, Pop Rock, Post-Punk, and more are all tied together here with a goth theme, leaving listeners with a dynamic sound. The band shines really brightly here by being able to blend so many styles together and unleash a refreshing and infectious energy. Coming fully equipped with melodic and ripping instrumentals, each track is also greeted with hypnotic vocal flows. The blend of the two is highlighted heavily by the impressive writing, and the spot-on production work ties everything together.
Each track on this album flows seamlessly into the next. That's a big reason why Western Violence feels so complete. Unlike a random collection of songs, this album feels very intentional and full. Serving as an impressive introduction to the band's sound, this album will no doubt continue to bring the duo a fresh wave of new fans. We can't wait to see what they have planned next!
