100 Mirrors is an EP released earlier this year by Chicago-based band, The Transference. A beautifully crafted 6-track ride that comes fully equipped with bright instrumentals and poppy vocal flows, this is an inviting new set of songs that any fan of the indie, alternative, and pop rock world will love. What a release!
Lyrical work is a big aspect of the band's sound here. The poppy vocal flows add an emotional element, and each track feels very deliberately crafted. The instrumentals on this release are also very dynamic. The Transference shines brightly by being able to deliver a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. Whether it's the big hooks, spot-on production work, or the clever songwriting, this will serve as an impressive introduction to any first-time listeners.
Each track flows seamlessly into the next on this release. That's a big reason why this release feels so complete. Our only complaint? We wish it was longer! By the time 100 Mirrors is over, all you'll want to do is hear more. That's exactly what an EP is supposed to do.
