I/U/WE/US is the debut album released by Israel-based band, SaffeK. Released a few weeks back, this is a wild ride that boasts a powerful blend of styles and impressive songwriting. What a release!
A 13-track ride, this album comes fully equipped with melodic instrumental work, poppy vocal flows, and unique transitions. The heavy-handed aspect of the instrumental adds a metal-inspired vibe into the otherwise alt-rock sound. The lyrical work on this release adds an emotional element and the end result is a dynamic style that any fan of the Rock n Roll world will love.
The band really shines here by being able to deliver a sound that feels nostalgic while at the same time new. Each song on this release flows seamlessly into the next. That's a big reason why I/U/WE/US feels so complete. At 13 songs long, an album can start to drag, but that's not the case here. Each song feels very intentional and the completed set of tracks delivers a cinematic and enjoyable ride.
