Ireland-based band, Packetloss, just dropped their new album, Reconnected. A 12-track ride that comes fully equipped with infectious and relatable Punk Rock energy, this is a powerful release that any fan of the genre is going to love. Whether it's the ripping instrumentals, poppy vocal flows, or impressive songwriting, this thing has it all. What a release!
Each track flows seamlessly into the next on this album. That's a big reason why Reconnected feels so complete. Unlike a random collection of songs, this album feels very intentional. Boasting a nostalgic sound, the band shines by being able to deliver something that feels refreshing while at the same time unique. Nothing quite picks up your day like a straight shot of classic Punk Rock energy.
It wasn't until our third listen-through that we found out this is actually the band's debut full-length album. What a debut! There aren't enough projects out there releasing music that's this raw with this much heart. We're not sure what's next, but we are sure that this is a band that every fan of the genre should keep on their radar.
