U.K.-based band, As Seen Above, recently dropped their new EP, Fix It in Post. A 5-track ride, this is a catchy release that boasts a raw and melodic sound. Elements of Punk, Garage Rock, Grunge, and straight-up Rock n Roll all make an appearance here. The band shines brightly by being able to blend all of these styles into one distinct and refreshing sound. What a release!
Pulling you in with raw instrumentals that come heavily distorted while staying hypnotic, the vocal flows in each track provide an emotional element that feels relatable. Each song flows into the next one seamlessly here. That's a big reason why this EP feels so full. The writing is on point, the transitions are unique, and the production work is spot-on. The end result is a dynamic set of tunes that any fan of the indie/alt-rock and punk world will love.
Our only complaint? We wish this release was longer! By the time Fix It in Post is over, all you'll want to do is hear more, and that's exactly what an EP is supposed to do. It's obvious that As Seen Above has found "their sound" and we can't wait to see where they go next with it.
